Propose to add "fluid" to {{Infobox ore}}[]

Since the go-to infobox for articles of chemical elements is {{Infobox ore}}, there should be a way to add fluids to the existing infobox, like the fluid form of the ore/element (different from the "molten" parameter). However, there is no way to add them, except for the others parameter, but that shouldn't be the place for a common type like fluids. To stop causing confusion, I propose that there should be another field in {{Infobox ore}} specifically for fluids.— 🍕Yivan000 talkcontribs 🍕 16:21, 21 December 2020 (UTC)

  • This isn't a very controversial change and doesn't take much effort so I will go ahead and add this field. -- SizableShrimp🦐 (talk · contribs) 06:18, 27 December 2020 (UTC)

Is this wiki cool with articles regarding add-ons and mods for Bedrock Edition?[]

I'm new to this wiki and I'm wondering if there's already a system in place for Bedrock mods and add-ons. I can contribute documenting those, I'm just making sure that this wiki is cool with that. Y'know, like support in infoboxes, specific categories, stuff like that. Yivan000 (talk) 08:20, 3 December 2020 (UTC)

As discussed in Discord, yes this wiki does support documenting Bedrock Edition mods, addons, etc. If you find a template that exists for Java Edition that you need modified or a different version for Bedrock, please let me know. Also, to help with separating content, please place {{Bedrock}} at the top of all content articles relating to Bedrock Edition, as you are already doing. I believe hatnotes go above amboxes (e.g. you place {{About}} above {{Bedrock}}), so if you get confused just go with that. Thanks! -- SizableShrimp🦐 (talk · contribs) 18:02, 3 December 2020 (UTC)

Tag system[]

After Minecraft released a new tag system for 1.13, Forge also replaced its OreDictionary it. We need to create Tag templates similar to current OreDict templates (I can't, as I'm not staff and thus can't create Special Pages.). Though it isn't very important for now, as FTB only has 3 modpacks for 1.14+, 2 of which are Unstable. --Underfell Flowey (talk) 09:13, 18 October 2020 (UTC)

We can use the oreDict template for tags. - AstroFlux (talk) (contributions) 16:04, 18 October 2020 (UTC)
After we add tags to its database, that is. --Underfell Flowey (talk) 16:43, 18 October 2020 (UTC)
We already have an OreDict extension that is in use. I'm not sure what changed in the tag system in 1.13, but it is something I could research. I don't think much changed however, and the oredict entries can just be updated. Only editors can update oredict entries at this time, but they are located at Special:OreDictList and Special:OreDictEntryManager. -- SizableShrimp🦐 (talk · contribs) 00:19, 19 October 2020 (UTC)

BlockRenderer[]

For all editors, I found a new BlockRender mod for 1.14: https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/item-texture-exporter

Because BlockRenderer is currently only available until 1.12.2. I haven't tried the new mod yet. --LuminousLizard FTB Wiki Staff de-N / "en-2" (talk) 15:26, 12 October 2019 (UTC)

Here is an updated version of Block Renderer for 1.14 and beyond (Both Forge and Fabric), if some of you didn't find it by now: https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/block-renderer --Underfell Flowey (talk) 09:13, 18 October 2020 (UTC)
