Clay Soldiers is a mod originally created by Kodaichizero and currently maintained by SanandreasP and SilverChiren that allows players to make Clay Soldiers. Clay Soldiers can be upgraded with different items. The mod adds mountable animals for Clay Soldiers to ride on.
When created, Clay Soldiers are given a color and will attack Clay Soldiers of a different color. In previous versions of the mod they would also attack hostile mobs.
At one point, Black Brawlers (attack all, made by an Ink Sac) and White Citizens (never attack, no matter what, made by Bone Meal) were added to the mod, but were later removed in favor of behavioral upgrades. (Wheat for non-hostility, and Nether Wart for hostility.)
This mod also includes Easter eggs of soldiers with rare skins that take the appearance of the developers of the mod, famous YouTube players, or mobs.
How to create Clay soldiers and Shear blades[]
To craft a Clay soldier, craft a block of Clay with Soul Sand on top to make 4 soldiers.
To color or change the material of a Clay soldier, craft it with any dye to change the type or color.
Shapelessly craft Shears on the crafting table to make 2 Shear Blades. Putting two Shear Blades on the Crafting Table will convert back into Shears.
