We're thrilled to welcome Max Brun on board , our new Game Programmer at New Tales! 🎉 Max brings a wealth of experience and passion to our team. Having lived in Montreal, Canada, for four years, he graduated in Game Engine Programming and contributed to the development of RollerCoaster Tycoon Touch. 🎢 After returning from Canada, he worked at Gameloft, contributing to multiple prototypes and new IPs, and optimizing Disney Dreamlight Valley. Max's expertise spans low-level rendering, engine programming, and creating generic game systems to ease the life of gameplay programmers. He has a passion for FPS games, from semi-simulation to arcade styles, including competitive play. 🔫 Additionally, Max is an avid collector of Pops, cards, figures, plushies, books, and manga. If he loves a license, he collects almost everything related to it (and keeps the boxes, of course!). 📚 Fun fact: Max is addicted to cheese! 🧀 Fondue isn't just a winter dish for him. His family even sent him cheese from France while he was in Canada. Unfortunately, once during a postal strike, the cheese was stuck in customs for two weeks... imagine the smell when he finally retrieved it! Earlier this week, Blanche, Eliot and Lucas had the pleasure to attend GAME CAMP FRANCE. The event was a treasure trove of insights, featuring conferences from industry leaders sharing their knowledge to help others innovate and push the boundaries of gaming. 💬 Beyond the conferences, it was super inspiring to exchange with all the studios attending the show and see their craft in motion. 💡 The French Gaming industry has a bright future ahead 🌠. Abdelkader's journey from a scientific baccalauréat to a passion-driven path in gaming. 🎮 Studying at Gaming Campus, Abdelkader has dived into various aspects of the gaming world, from digital marketing to UX-UI design and coding. His enthusiasm and hands-on experience at events like Paris Games Week and his stint with LaRevueD'Geek have prepared him well for this next chapter. A lifelong gamer, Abdelkader's love for video games spans all genres, from triple-A titles to indie gems. His interests also include cinema, football, and travel 🌍. You also should know that Abdelkader is a fine gourmet. In fact, as a child, he had two cuddly toys: a wooden spoon and half a baguette🥖. Please join us in giving a warm welcome to Abdelkader! We are excited to welcome Mahdi Attemane as our Communications intern! Mahdi brings a unique blend of creativity and experience to our team. He's spent the last two years honing his PR skills at Warning Up and Ubisoft. Beyond his job, Mahdi has directed music videos and led communications for a movie-themed association. 🎥 He is also passionate about narrative-driven games and life-sim titles like Animal Crossing. 🎶 Mahdi's heart beats to the tunes of Yoko Shimomura's violin and piano compositions. An avid concert-goer and writer, he dreams of sharing his many stories with the world. 💡 At 13, Mahdi began writing his own video game scenario! He developed a prototype in Japan, and in 2021, published a novel as a prequel to his game. His dedication to this 12-year project showcases his relentless passion and creativity.
