Hi, I'm Serenesage and I participate in a variety of different Wikipedia Projects. At the moment, I'm most active in the WikiProject Women and WikiLovesWomen Project with the aim of closing content gaps for under-represented groups on Wikipedia. This effort is important as 90% of the content on Wikipedia is created by men.[1] As a consequence, 80% of Wikipedia articles are about men.[1]
The basis for my articles and contributions are Wikipedia's Five Pillars. I endeavor to use the best available sources in accordance with WP:RS and maintain WP:NPOV. However, I'm human and don't always get it right so collaborations and friendly feedback are welcome.
So far I have created the following articles in this effort:
WikiLovesWomen
This is where I concentrate most of my efforts at the moment.
Women in Sierra Leone
As part of this effort, I've focused on the topic Women in Sierra Leone. I recently submitted an article through the wizard about Isata Dora Bangura, the second woman to run for the office of vice-president in Sierra Leone.
