Working in Advertising
The article currently states: "In 1942, he joined the United States Navy.[5] After World War II ended, he worked in advertising until publishing his first novel, Quatrefoil: A Modern Novel, in 1950." It then goes on to mention that Fugaté was honorably discharged from the Navy after it became known that he was the author of Quatrefoil.
I am just wondering how to reconcile the "worked in advertising until...1950" with the "honorably discharged after it became known."
