Vogue paris is a monthly magazine (with the exception of the December-January and the June-July issues) and is published by Conde-Nast. It was first published in 1919 (it's 90th birthday issue will be the September 2009 issue) and was the third vogue to be published (US, then UK then French). Unusually, it is called Vogue Paris, rather than Vogue France; it is the only Vogue to have a city of where it is published rather than a country (Carine Roitfeld, current editor in chief has stated that Parisiennes are different to the 'French').

Vogue Paris is less commercial than other Vogue's, it usually has a model on the cover rather than a celebrity.

The December-January issue is always guest-edited by someone notable - previous guest editors are: 2003- Catherine Deneuve 2004- Sofia Coppola 2005- Kate Moss 2006- John Galliano 2007- Charlotte Gainsbourg 2008- Princess Stephanie of Monaco.

Carine Roitfeld is currently editor in chief, before her it was Joan Juliet Buck.
