Request User:HingWahStreet/HK Transport Journal/Issue 6 source

edit

Hi. My page User:HingWahStreet/HK Transport Journal/Issue 6 is deleted and I haven't have a backup source for that (I owned the source). Can you please provide the deleted source for the page? I am planning to post the source outside Wikipedia. My intention is to make a brief of Hong Kong transport news and I don't know that Wikipedia is not a suitable page for that. Hi HingWahStreet. I see Whpq has already taken care of this for you. -Fastily 23:19, 19 July 2024 (UTC)Reply
But you deleted this particular page, not Whpq HingWahStreet (talk) 03:19, 20 July 2024 (UTC)Reply
Ah, so I did. Here is the text at the time of deletion. -Fastily 09:00, 22 July 2024 (UTC)Reply

Rollback

edit

Hey, I know I asked you to ping me at wp:rollback because I couldn't figure out how to automate leaving vandalism warnings on Twinkle. You probably forgot about it but I just wanted to let you know that I changed some of the customizable settings and its working great now so no worries. Hi Ben Azura. Glad to hear it's working for you! -Fastily 09:00, 22 July 2024 (UTC)Reply

Thanks

I got this one as well but the content model has changed and therefore the template does not work: User:Polygnotus/facounts Polygnotus (talk) 16:46, 22 July 2024 (UTC)Reply

Mistake on User:Sergentkitty

edit

I come in peace. You erased my user page but I was not promoting anything. As I explained here (but it seems no one read it :/):

"This page is not unambiguously promotional, because... I think my page was spotted by bots as an ad because it contains a link to a Youtube video, it says "ad", and I threaten to sue. The video is Wikipedia Foundation's own 'Wikipedia | It's a great feeling' video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=St1JN6m0FTI). The joke is that it sounds like an ad, so I am trying out the service based on the promises of that ad. But I obviously do not plan to sue if I don't like Wikipedia, I don't think anyone could have thought I was serious here. Sorry for triggering the alarm with my stupid joke, my first edit was more explosive than I thought it would be..."

So it had nothing to do with "promoting/advertising a business/service, blogging, and/or content unrelated to Wikipedia".

However, I will change my presentation, the joke was just half-funny to start with, but now it's just flat dead. Sergentkitty (talk) 02:01, 24 July 2024 (UTC)Reply
