Step by step documentation to set up a form for your website.

iContact

This extension allows you to directly send entry info from Everest Forms to your iContact account. iContact assists in growing your audience with personalized, automated messages, driving leads, and product sales.

Installation #

  1. Firstly, you need to purchase the Everest Forms Pro plugin.
  2. After the successful purchase, you will get the plugin zip file under your WPEverest account page.
  3. Now, you can download the Everest Forms Pro from there.
  4. Through your WordPress Dashboard, visit Plugins -> Add New -> Upload and then choose the downloaded zip file and then install and activate it.
  5. Now go to Everest Forms > Add-ons > All Features.
  6. Search iContact add-ons and install them.

Setup and Configuration. #

Once you have activated the iContact integration, go to Everest Forms > Settings > Integration > iContact and click on the settings button. This will take you to the configuration screen for the iContact integration.

You will get the following screen.

Get the iContact APi Credentials #

You will then automatically get all the required credentials. These are marked in the image below.

  • Copy these keys to a clipboard and add it on the Everest Forms > Settings > Integration > iContact.
  • Click on Connect to iContact.

It will then be connected to the Everest Forms. If you want to disconnect this app, you can click on the Disconnect button on the far right.

Similarly, you can add multiple connections.

Connect iContact to your contact forms #

Once you have connected the iContact app to the Everest Forms settings, you need to create a form to connect it to the iContact. You can connect your existing forms as well. For this, go to the following location.

All Forms > Choose a Form > Integration > iContact
  • Click on Add New Connection.
  • Provide a nickname for the connection.
  • Now, you have to choose the account, list, and map the form fields as required.
  • Click on Save.

How to use conditional logic for iContact connections? #

To use conditional logic, enable the option by ticking the ‘Use Conditional Logic’ option at the bottom of every connection you make.

In the above example, the form sends data to the iContact account only if the First Name is ‘Everest’.

Note: You can add more than one connections.
