Are you ready? 🔔 The amended PRC Company Law comes into force in one month and will affect all companies, including subsidiaries of foreign companies in China. ❗ More than 100 new or amended articles contain provisions with mandatory effect, meaning that companies need to analyse their current AoA and organisational structure as soon as possible and, if required, make necessary changes by 1 July 2024 to secure their compliance. 👉 In part 1 of our three-part article in German language, we not only list the amendments of the new Company Law, but, as always, provide practical recommendations for shareholders and management of Chinese companies. ✔ Part 1 of our article (Mandatory Regulations Requiring Action - Selection) has been published on the website of the IHK Region Stuttgart. Receiving feedback like this warms my heart: "In short: I feel all together calmer, and more solid, in myself and who I am. Like there is less of me still in shadow. The more of myself I integrate inwards, the more I can put myself in the world, outwards. It's a lovely, and powerful paradox. I feel calmer, more settled, and clearer on who I am, what I want and where I'm going. Sand has very clearly done a lot of work on herself – you can't get that kind of life experience from a piece of paper, no matter how formal the qualification or fancy the university is. Inner work leads to deep outward empathy, and that's what Sand brings to her sessions. If you’re thinking about working with Sand - DO IT!" - Georgia Rickhard, Head of Content, PHHNIX; Managing Director, The Travel Bootcamp; Editor at Large, Virgin Australia . . . #clientlove #feedback #ilovemywork #epicimpact #transformation #thespiral

Meditation Is Not For Me. ... Is what both me and some of my clients say when introduced to Meditation. Since today is #WorldMeditationDay, I want to highlight this misunderstanding. 💭 I can't sit still for that long -> 💚 You can start with just a few minutes. 💭 Meditation is a waste of time -> 💚 Meditation is an investment in your productivity. 💭 It's only for spiritual or religious people -> 💚 Meditation is for everyone. So when my clients ask me something, most of the time I answer: ❓ What's your gut feeling? ❓ What does your inner voice say? That's not what they want to hear. But it's what they need. That's what they come to me for. To Buy Themselves. 🌟 Buy Yourself coaching is not about giving you all the answers. 𝐈𝐭'𝐬 𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐠𝐮𝐢𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐛𝐚𝐜𝐤 𝐭𝐨 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐞𝐥𝐟 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐛𝐞𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐟𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐬𝐰𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐝𝐞𝐜𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐢𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐞. 🛠 And here's where meditation is such a powerful tool to do so. Meditation is about connecting with your inner self to find clarity and purpose. When in doubt, don't look for the answer outside, go inside, that's where it is. 𝐇𝐞𝐫𝐞'𝐬 𝐚 𝐬𝐢𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐞 𝐦𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐜𝐚𝐧 𝐭𝐫𝐲: 1. 𝐅𝐢𝐧𝐝 𝐚 𝐐𝐮𝐢𝐞𝐭 𝐒𝐩𝐚𝐜𝐞 ( 𝐧𝐨 𝐭𝐞𝐜𝐡 ): Sit comfortably and close your eyes. 2. 𝐅𝐨𝐜𝐮𝐬 𝐨𝐧 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐁𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐡: Take deep breaths, in through your nose and out through your mouth. 3. 𝐀𝐬𝐤 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐞𝐥𝐟: What do I truly want? ( or whatever you want an answer for ) and sit with this question for a few moments. 4. 𝐑𝐞𝐟𝐥𝐞𝐜𝐭: Open your eyes and reflect on any insights. If you journal, do so. 💡 Your inner voice is a guide that knows what's best for you. It's quiet but smart. ❓ What is your relation to meditation? Tag someone that needs to hear this today. #WorldMeditationDay

💡 An investment is always associated with consequences. Especially among professional investors. 👨💻 Stefan Sollberger is the CFO Swiss Chamber of Commerce in The Netherlands (SCCN) and the CEO of Sollberger KMU Treuhand. He has an extensive number of years of experience and expertise as a Partner, Advisor, Mentor and Investor. 🎧 English Translation: "A classic mistake startup teams make when looking for funding is to be sure of the money before the process is complete. Experience shows that you have to keep selling until an offer has been made. Remember, you're selling until the last second, and investors also want to be convinced to buy before they decide. HORSEPOWER: Shares of startups are high-risk securities and illiquid assets. No investor invests according to the principle of hope unless he or she is a fool. And an investment is always associated with consequences. Especially among professional investors. Oh yes, also important to mention, an investor does not give you money so that you can use it to pay your private debts. " ⬇ Curious about how an investors mind works ? #Mentalhealth problems or let us call it characteristics don’t define who you are. They are something you experience. You walk in the rain and you feel the rain, but, importantly, YOU ARE NOT THE RAIN. Each May, #BPD #AwarenessMonth is an opportunity to educate people about #borderline #personality - that‘s what I do with my latest article … https://lnkd.in/eMNeABpi

Today I woke up with quite significant pain in my whole body. And it felt good. You might know that feeling too: all body aches but you’re so grateful for that, you feel so alive! That’s the result of my yesterday’s aikido practice. It was so difficult, so crazy challenging, but at the same time - rewarding. When I joined I was 37 and intuitively I knew why it was important. It’s teaching me to overcome my biggest fear of falling down and being attacked. It showed me that it’s fine to end up on the floor and rise again. I know exactly what life skills I’m training through this practice: it’s resilience. It’s flexibility. It’s courage. And it’s growing step by step, lesson by lesson. You can’t become a black belt in 1 year. Neither in 3. It’s a loooong way. Like our lives. Sometimes our achievement is to make just that one step. Like my yesterday’s achievement was that I endured 1.5 practice as an aikido student (and I learnt how to hold a ‘bokken’. I address these words to those who need to hear them today. "Success is not final, failure is not fatal: It is the courage to continue that counts” - words by Winston Churchill. Each step, no matter how small, is a testament to our courage and determination. With every fall, we rise stronger, more resilient, and more ready to embrace the journey ahead. #aikidopractice #lifeskills #coaching #lifetraining

#impactbias significantly influences #inclusion Individuals often overestimate how much inclusion will boost their happiness and belonging, potentially leading to unmet expectations upon experiencing it. Conversely, fears of exclusion often exaggerate anticipated distress, causing unnecessary anxiety. Organizations can mitigate disappointment by preparing individuals for varied outcomes and promoting sustained engagement despite initial fluctuations in enthusiasm. This approach fosters environments where expectations align more closely with actual experiences, enhancing satisfaction and fostering meaningful participation in inclusive initiatives.

Intentions count. How often do you remember that your team have lives beyond work? As a mediator, coach and researcher, all too frequently I hear of leaders sending emails out of hours: at the weekend, late at night, during a public or private holiday, early morning etc. Sometimes the leader tells me, in their defense, they do not expect a reply straight away. And of course there is the time-zone issue. Leaders sometimes explain how they were just clearing their to do list and encourage their team to only read or reply to urgent messages. Occasionally, a leader sending such an email will add a line at the end of the email, not usually in the subject line, saying they do not expect a reply until a working day, after the weekend, when the person returns from holiday etc. In brief We all know culture is all about actions and intentions, not just words. Remember the saying ‘walk the talk’? Having worked for and with some of the best (my opinion) global companies in the world, I know if the CEO / my boss sent me an email I’d open it! A way forward If you want to have a positive impact on wellbeing, retention, and productivity, maybe now is a good time to set an intention and follow through. Here are a three things to try or revisit… 1. Find out what matters: how do your team like to work, receive communication, contribute to a discussion, be invited into a discussion. Do they understand how you like to work? 2. Show respect for the privacy of your team: discuss and set boundaries around work and down time. What are your boundaries? 3. Discover what your team want beyond work. Do team members have a dream, a strength they would like to use more or less often. Maybe you or they have skill areas to develop: something of real interest. What matters to your team and you beyond work? FYI: One leader I worked with knew I like to spend 15 mins on a Sunday night getting ready for the week ahead. With this in mind he’d send me an email around 6pm on Sunday. In the subject line he’d write ‘Stream of consciousness!!’ I loved it. Equally, I have worked for leaders who say one thing and mean something completely different. #timetomoveon A question How could you show respect for each person in your direct team or set of close colleagues? A comment The best will probably leave first if you do not treat them with respect? Suzanne Todd Robert Baker Sylvana Caloni Debs Wright ICF ACC Terri McNerney Jenny Burns Anne Boden

In my work, I see many clients on the verge of, just out of, or in the midst of burnout. Nobody wants to reach that point where energy is gone, moods are down, and life loses its colors. Burnout is intriguing because it has many causes, and people often don’t understand why it happens. 𝐒𝐨𝐦𝐞 𝐩𝐞𝐨𝐩𝐥𝐞 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤 𝐜𝐫𝐚𝐳𝐲 𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐧𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐛𝐮𝐫𝐧 𝐨𝐮𝐭. Think about something that really motivates you and that you do easily. For me, it's taking care of my cat Eva. I want her to be healthy for as long as possible (more snuggles for me, yay!). That same motivation also helps me stick to my diet. It's all about wanting the best for Future Me. Just like I want Eva to feel good, I want to feel good too, especially as I age. And with my grandma being 105 years young (!), I'm aiming for that longevity too! So here are 3 simple tips to stay on your diet: 1. Find Your “Why”: Think about what motivates you. Is it your family, your health, or your future goals? Write it down and keep it visible. 2. Plan Realistically: Choose a diet that fits your lifestyle with foods you like. 3. Celebrate Small Wins: Each time you stick to your diet, celebrate with a small reward, an affirmation, or a fun activity. Here are some clients’ stories for inspiration: - C focused on natural foods and dropped her medication. - A learned to say no to dessert instead of doing like others. - V improved her gut health with new eating habits. - A managed her urges for bread even in France! - N learned to stop at just a few peanuts. - L made her Jenga tower taller each time she managed a craving. Your turn! What makes you stick to your diet? Do you want confidence, energy, or feeling great? Share your motivation with me! Ready to crush cravings and build a stronger you? Let's chat! Are You Ready for the Inspiration Age? In a world that once thrived on farming, then manufacturing, and now information, the next evolution is upon us: the Inspiration Age. This shift goes beyond mere data, it’s about tapping into our inner spirit. Rethink your massive action taking. Instead, champion your inspired actions—those in-spirit moments where clarity and creativity converge. Here’s the essence: 👉 𝐈𝐧𝐬𝐩𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐀𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐯𝐬. 𝐌𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐀𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬: Inspired actions stem from a place of inner calm and alignment, not from the frenzy of busyness. 👉 𝐇𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐄𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐠𝐲: Everything you perceive is energy. You, as a creator, mold this energy into tangible outcomes. 👉 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐮𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐈𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭𝐬: Those "aha" moments, often in the shower or during quiet reflection, are your subconscious at work. They’re your compass in the Inspiration Age. 👉 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐌𝐢𝐧𝐝: True intuition arises from a neutral or empowered state, not from fear. Your best ideas come when you are relaxed and open. You can embrace the power of inspiration. Write down those breakthrough ideas when they strike and act on them. This is how you transform energy into impactful reality. Call to Action 👇: Reshape your approach—focus on inspired actions. Comment below with your thoughts or DM me to explore how we can harness this new age together.

Pierre-Laurent (Pilo) Verdon
In the business of our daily work lives, how often do we pause to consider the relationships we build with our colleagues? Isabelle Verdon and I can talk about this as we are both married and work together! This requires an a acute level of awareness about how we show up in relationship with one another and the rest of the world! Many of us focus on the tasks at hand, the projects to complete, and the goals to achieve. Yet, how frequently do we discuss how we want to work together? How often do we take the time to design our alliances and talk about our shared mission? The co-active model emphasizes the significance of "designing alliances" — a powerful tool that helps teams not only define their tasks but also clarify how they will collaborate. This approach encourages open dialogue about mutual expectations, communication styles, and the desired team dynamics. 🌟 Imagine the impact of starting a project by asking: - How do we want to support each other? - What values are important to us as a team? - How can we create a space where everyone feels heard and valued? By consciously designing our alliances, we create a foundation of trust and understanding. We transform from just a group of people working together to a cohesive team united by a common mission. Next time you're embarking on a new project or initiative, take a moment to discuss not just what needs to be done, but how you want to achieve it together. Let's foster relationships that enhance collaboration, innovation, and overall success. 👉 How do you design alliances in your workplace? Share your thoughts and experiences! #ExecutiveCoaching #DesigningAlliances #TinyLeadershipMessage
