如何分类和整理图像

有人会在其他维基项目中使用你的图片做条目插图，所以将你的文件放到维基共享资源的某个条目或分类中是非常关键的，否则你的很有价值的文件可能没有被人利用。

放到条目中比仅仅加上分类更有利，有可以保持更多的信息，更容易被人发现。早好的例子是条目火星。

根据条目的名称可以分辨出是“条目”还是“分类”，没有前缀的是条目，有前缀“Category:”的是分类，有“Image:”的仅仅是图片页面，你可以很容易根据这些分辨出不同的内容。

将图片加上分类和为条目加分类一样，只是在图片页面上加上如下分类即可：

[[Category:指定的頁面分類]]

要注意的是：不要为一个图片加上两个以上的分类，分类多了并不能更容易地寻找它，尽量让它有比较独特的位置。另外不要将图片放到大分类下，尽量寻找合适的特别分类，可以利用分类树找到合适的分类。

要将图片加入条目，只要打开条目页面，点击“edit”，出现如下页面：

你可以将自己的图片如下表示添加到两个gallery语句之间（一个是打开语句，一个是关闭语句）：

Image:你的圖片名稱.jpg|簡短的敘述

然后保存，在gallery里不要使用[[ 和 ]]这种外框。对于音像文件也使用同样的方法，不过显示出来的只是一个示意图像，如下例：
