Gold drops just about everywhere in The First Descendant, so you’re likely to build up quite a supply while you’re simply playing the game. However, if you find yourself short, there are missions that are particularly useful in farming plenty of gold. I think these are currently the best way to farm gold in The Descendant, so let’s take a look.
Special Operations: the best gold farm in The First Descendant
This example is from the Kuiper Block Mining Special Operation in Sterile Land. You’ll need to be pretty strong to reach the later levels, but even just completing the first two levels have gained me over 100k in Gold in around ten minutes.
As you can see, the next reward is a potential extra 100k. The alternative aren’t bad either, since you’ll get great research materials if you don’t get gold. Plus, there are plenty of choke points around the map that can help you funnel enemies into tight spaces.
Once they’re all dealt with, just run over and collect the vast amounts of gold they leave behind as well. You can easily earn quite a handsome sum from just spamming the Special Operations missions.
