• Recruited, trained and managed a team of 10 volunteers resulting in a 60% increase in revenue and 40% increase in club membership in comparison to the previous year
• Worked with the Finance Director to prepare and present a yearly budget resulting in a 200% increase in funding in comparison to the previous year

• Rewarded to high-achieving students in the top 15% of their program. Founded in 1977, Golden Key is comprised of more than two million student and alumni members worldwide. With more than 400 chapters around the globe, Golden Key recognizes highly-motivated academic achievers and has a focus on community service and networking at the chapter level.

• Evaluated and provided feedback on the development and implementation of strategies within and across international markets for the Strategic Management International Business capstone course (BUSI 4709) at the Sprott School of Business.

• Worked with a team of students to fundraise over $28,000 to buy supplies for a two-week trip to Tanzania to implement water filtration and collection methods in rural areas with Canadian NGO TEMBO
• Surveyed communities in rural Tanzania and devised a plan to improve current rainwater collection and filtration methods resulting in a formal proposal on behalf of Carleton University to Global Affairs Canada for funding my project

• Represented Carleton in meetings with potential partnership universities in China during a two-week study tour

The Career Services Student Advisory Board is an initiative to help gain a better understanding of the needs of students with respect to their career development and employment concerns. This board will help Career Services gain insight into students’ expectations on services and quality of service for the development of their employability skills, career development and job search needs, and to identify any gaps.

International Orientation Ambassadors assist with the preparation and implementation of International Student Orientation, which includes the orientations for exchange, undergraduate and graduate international students, as well as a number of arrival support and social programs. International Orientation Ambassadors assist with the preparation and implementation of International Student Orientation, which includes the orientations for exchange, undergraduate and graduate international students, as well as a number of arrival support and social programs. Ambassadors take on a mentor role throughout orientation week by assisting and responding effectively to the needs of new students. Ambassadors plan and coordinate activities, in addition to preparing orientation materials and resources for new students. Throughout orientation week, Ambassadors welcome and attend to the needs of new students. Other tasks during the orientation period include assisting with the check in process of students living in residence, with the manning of registration booths at the different orientation sessions, taking students on campus tours, city tours, social activities and perform other tasks as required. The International Student Services Office (ISSO) is dedicated to the support and well being of the international and exchange student community at Carleton University. The Student Exchange Ambassador is responsible for sharing their exchange experiences through presentations and events.
