🌞 Celebrating Family Day Summer Fun at our Woodstock Facility! 🌞 Every year, we come together to celebrate our incredible team and their families with a special summer event. This year was extra special as we hosted it for the first time at our Woodstock facility! On Saturday, June 22nd, our ATMB team members and their families had the opportunity to tour the workplace and experience the community spirit that makes our company exceptional. The day was filled with excitement, joy, and a strong sense of community. We had an incredible turnout with many families joining the festivities. Here are some highlights from the day: 🎉 Guided Tours: Families explored our facility, learning about our impressive work and the state-of-the-art technology we use daily. 🎈 Bouncy Castle: The children had a fantastic time bouncing around and enjoying themselves. 🏆 Special Guests: Mayor of Woodstock Jerry Acchione attended and handed out prizes along with our CHRO Kathy Reyhany, CHRE 🐄 Cow Milking Contest, Balloon Animals, Face Painter: Fun and engaging activities for everyone! 🎁 Prizes: A variety of activities offered fantastic prizes, which were a hit with both kids and adults. 🚚 Food Trucks: A diverse selection of food trucks provided delicious meals and snacks, catering to all tastes and preferences. This event would not have been possible without the hard work and dedication of our organizing committee. Thank you, Barry Alyea, Susan Millson, Brad Ritchie, Chuck Loblaw, P. 🌿 AMTB Employees Restore Community Garden at Alkebu-Lan Village Community Center! 🌿 On Friday, June 14, a team of dedicated employees from our Detroit Facility had the incredible opportunity to volunteer at the Alkebu-Lan Village Community Center in Detroit. Our drive? To contribute to the installation of a rain garden and enhance the pollinator garden area. This natural playground is set to be a transformational space for the AKBV greenspace, and we're thrilled to be part of this sustainable initiative in partnership with the Wildlife Habitat Council (WHC). It was a day filled with teamwork, passion, and a shared commitment to environmental stewardship. But the journey doesn't end here! We're excited to announce that we'll be returning on July 26th for a follow-up visit to continue this important project. A huge thank you to all our amazing volunteers who made this day a success. We are thrilled to share our latest designs adding to the ArcelorMittal Multi Part Integration™ (MPI) portfolio which was presented at GDIS 2024, in Novi on May 23rd. Our Product Development team got this wonderful opportunity to showcase our technologies that drive a safer and greener tomorrow. The presentation “ArcelorMittal Multi Part Integration™ - Pioneering New BEV Advanced Battery Enclosure Design”, by Nachiket Gokhale, focused on AMTB’s Structural Battery Pack concept that enables the development of a steel-intensive battery enclosure. It highlighted how the use of laser welded blanks in these applications enables a design that achieves assembly simplification for automotive OEMs while reducing the carbon footprint of the vehicle. AMTB also co-presented “Innovation In Body-in-White Reinforcements Using Wire Laser Additive Manufactured B-pillar Concept” with ArcelorMittal Global R&D. This presentation, by Christian Alvarez Robledo & Tejas Chillale, focused on benefits of additive manufacturing concepts for meeting roof strength targets for low volume, heavy BEV variants We showcased our MPI designs on a brand-new 3D printed Body-in-White at our booth.
