    Ingredients

    • Eggs
    • Milk/milk alternative
    • Salt
    • Butter

    First steps

    1. To begin, place a small amount of butter in the base of a microwave-safe dish.
    2. Add in the eggs, a pinch of salt and half a teaspoon of milk for every egg you include (to help add more texture).
    3. Whisk the mixture then cook in the microwave for 30 seconds at a time. Remove and whisk again with a fork.
    4. The amount of time you cook the eggs in the microwave depends on how you prefer your eggs.
    5. Add any extra seasoning, herbs or cheese of your choice.

    Elevate your scrambled eggs

Scrambled eggs, on their own, may not always be the most appealing option for a meal. But with HelloFresh by your side, you can effortlessly elevate basic meals into delectable delights.

Here are a few different ways to enhance your scrambled egg recipes:

    Scrambled eggs with cheese

Take some inspiration from this haloumi salad recipe and add cheese to your scrambled eggs or serve them with a side of fried halloumi. Finish with a garnish of thinly sliced spring onions and enjoy for breakfast or lunch.

    Seasoned scrambled eggs

Add fresh herbs to your eggs, like chives, thyme or basil, for a kick of extra flavour. Layer your scrambled eggs on some freshly buttered toast, garnish with herbs and enjoy a hearty, savoury breakfast.

    Spicy scrambled eggs

Add a dash of paprika, Cajun spice, or a hint of chilli powder, to give your microwaved eggs a fiery kick.
