Last night at the Defence Connect Australian Defence Industry Awards, our LAND 19 Phase 7B Program team was successful in taking out the Land Program of the Year Award, with Brad Ferguson winning the Engineer of the Year Award, as well as being named a finalist in the evening’s overall Excellence Award category. The team was awarded Land Program of the Year for their successful delivery of the LAND 19 Phase 7B project, which has transformed the Australian Army’s short-range ground-based air defence capability. This award is a great recognition of the team in their delivery of the unique Australian National Advanced Surface to Air Missile System (NASAMS) solution and represents our outstanding collaboration with industry partners. Congratulations to all the winners.

This week, we proudly celebrated NAIDOC Week. Across the country, our employees came together to recognise the history, culture, and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. From indulging in traditional bush tucker provided by First Nations businesses, to experiencing a Welcome to Country and digeridoo performance, and receiving a NAIDOC Week presentation from our First Nations Consultant, Dion Devow – our people all had the opportunity to take part in NAIDOC Week celebrations. #NAIDOC2024
