Last month our UK Supply Chain Team came together for their bi-annual team day, jam-packed with updates and presentations, team building activities and lots of fun! 🥂 There was plenty of excitement for the year ahead after hearing from some of our great leaders about all the plans we have for the Supply Chain team. The group also enjoyed a visit to Brunel’s SS Great Britain museum and a treasure hunt around Bristol’s iconic waterfront landscape. The team concluded their team day by setting sail on a river cruise, the perfect opportunity for our people to connect, unwind and enjoy the scenery. What a great way to connect, align on focus areas, and get motivated and energised for the new year ahead! On Friday our People and Communications team in Sydney had a fantastic day Cooking for a Cause with OzHarvest, transforming rescued ingredients into gourmet meals to support vulnerable communities. At Accolade our people enjoy an annual Go Beyond Day, a paid day off to support a charity of their choosing. Having this opportunity to volunteer for great organisations like OzHarvest that support the communities in which we work is an important aspect of life at Accolade. Not only are these days an opportunity to give back, they're a fantastic way to spend time connecting as a team outside of the office. Thank you OzHarvest for a fulfilling and enjoyable day! Our UK team have kicked off a new staff tasting series! These sessions give our team the opportunity to taste our wines while getting to know our winemakers and learning more about the winemaking process. The first sessions were held in March, where our team sampled four sparkling wines from our Da Luca and Croser brands, with Ella H., Senior Sparkling Winemaker, dialling in for the session to take them through the regions, styles and notes. The team were thrilled to welcome Helen McCarthy, Director Global Winemaking, to host the most recent session in person with Calen Joubert DipWSET, European Wine Buying Manager. They took the UK offices through an impressive selection of Sauvignon Blancs from our Mud House, Flagstone and Petaluma brands. Does connecting with your colleagues and learning about wine from some of the world's best winemakers sound like your kind of drop? We’re hiring now! Click here to see our job openings: https://lnkd.in/ghz53eBm Congratulations to Nadine Roberts, Thomas Joyce-Brown DipWSET, Nicola Gent, Grant Armstong, Karen Hardwick DipWSET, Alexandra Colson, Lizzy Parrott, Emma Cooling and Isabelle Ritchie for launching these sessions! #WineTasting #WineEducation #AccoladeWines #HighPerformanceCulture

After a big year in the UK alcohol market, The Grocer has released its list of Britain’s Top 100 Alcohol Brands in 2024. We are proud to announce that 4 brands from our portfolio were featured in the list, with Hardys retaining its position as the #1 wine brand! 🥂 While our global flagship brand Hardys remained the 5th biggest alcohol brand and the #1 wine brand, Jam Shed continued to disrupt the market and build strong brand awareness, moving up 4 places to #36. The popular and fun Echo Falls made the list at #53, and our adventurous classic, Mud House, checked in at #72. 🍷 We are thrilled to have been featured on the list! These results are a huge testament to our team, big distribution wins from the last year, and our clear focus on leading category growth. Congratulations team Accolade! #Top100 #Top100AlcoholBrands #Britain #AccoladeWines
