The Just Dance franchise making an appearance at E3 has become as much of a sure thing as series such as Call of Duty and FIFA. Now celebrating its 10 year anniversary, Ubisoft revealed Just Dance 2020 during it’s 2019 E3 conference with another dance break like in past years.

Rather than kicking off the show with the series, Ubisoft decided to hold Just Dance 2020’s reveal for the middle of the show this year. In this section we got a dance party on stage to Panic! at the Disco’s “High Hopes” among a few other songs.

However, there was really no new information revealed about the game itself in this segment outside of a release month and platforms, with Ubisoft quickly moving onto the next game. The platform reveal though was rather interesting for a couple reasons.

The release month is not a major surprise, with it set to release in November. The surprise though is with the platforms. PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch are not surprises at all, but in addition Just Dance 2020 was revealed for Stadia and the Nintendo Wii. Yes, the Nintendo Wii that first released in 2006 and has been out of production for years now and not the Wii U.

Just Dance has always had a big history with the Wii, as it was what helped to propel the series to be successful. This is similar to how the FIFA series still released for PS2 for years beyond the life of that console, so it’ll be interesting to see how much longer Ubisoft keeps this one coming.

Looks for Just Dance 2020 to release in November for PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, Stadia, and Wii.
