For hundreds of years artists have used grids as a reference tool to aid them in producing their next masterpiece.

SmartGrid has been developed for artists by an artist, my name is Doug Cohen and for many years I have been involved in many development projects ranging from web design to 2/3D graphic design and also a love of painting and drawing.
I have developed SmartGrid with all you budding artists in mind, there is no technical setup as the app works it all out for you.
So!, all you need to do to get started is set the size of the canvas/paper you are using in your preferred measurement method(Inches or centimetres), then you're ready to go!

Version 1.01

- SmartGrid has just got smarter, I have added auto scaling points of interest, so if you change the size of your canvas the points of interest will automatically move to the right position, thus you can use the same file for various canvas sizes.
- Fixed a couple of small bugs.

Why can’t I zoom?

I bought this app, almost without hesitation. I typically never buy apps. I’m intrigued by the point system.
However, I’m frustrated that I can’t zoom in and out on my picture. I especially want to be able to do this if I’m placing points, or wanting to focus on a specific area without straining my eyes.
Add this ability and I can actually use the app. Without the ability to zoom in/out, I’m not going to bother potentially wasting my time floundering with the tech.
