Social Icons in the Store Locator List

Agile Store Locator supports the inclusion of social icons in the store list, allowing you to create call-to-action buttons for social links associated with each store. Here’s how you can add social links to the listing:

1- Go to the Custom Fields section in Agile Store Locator and create fields for the desired social links. For example, you can create fields with labels and control names such as “facebook_url,” “twitter_url,” and “instagram_url”.

2- After creating these fields through the custom field manager, edit the respective store(s) and add the social links to the corresponding fields. Save the changes.

3- Once the social links are added to the stores, the store locator will display the social icons and links in the store listing, as shown in the provided image.

Creating Additional Social Icons #

If you want to add a social icon that is not included by default (such as Apple), you can create another custom field specifically for that icon. For example, you can create a field called “Apple URL.” Make sure the social icon name ends with “_url” to follow the required format, like “apple_url.”

To assign an icon to the newly created custom field, you need to install the Font Awesome library on your page. Once installed, go to the custom field manager and add the icon’s CSS class name (e.g., “fa fa-apple”) to the CSS Class field of the custom field. This will associate the icon with the social link, and it should appear accordingly.
