Store locator does support the priority of stores, and each store can be assigned a priority id so whenever the store is within the search range, it will appear on top over the rest of the stores, the priority/order is supported with all sorting values.
When the order value is not given, it is considered zero, the higher number will be always on the top ranks if found within the searched range and filter.
Why Priority Stores are always appearing on the top? #
As we have defined above, the priority stores will always list at the top of the ranks, so if you are using it, please make sure to enable the Distance Control to define the range, so for example, the range is set to 20 Miles, so these priority stores will only appear on the top if they are within that 20 Miles radius.
