Michael Chiang Named Fandom’s Chief Business Officer

SAN FRANCISCO, CA — June 24, 2020 — Today Fandom announced that Michael Chiang has been promoted to Chief Business Officer. In this role, he will spearhead business strategy and operations across Fandom’s wiki, tabletop, and video businesses.

“Since joining Fandom two years ago through the acquisition of Screen Junkies, Michael’s strategic mindset, collaborative working style and deep gaming and media experience have contributed greatly to Fandom’s growth,” said Perkins Miller, CEO, Fandom. “Michael has provided outstanding leadership of our content business, seeking ways to increase user engagement and partnering with our revenue organization to drive monetization. I’m excited to work with him in this role and share in the innovative ideas he has brewing.” Chiang reports directly to Miller.

Prior to serving as GM of Screen Junkies, Chiang was the VP of Platforms and GM of Gaming for Defy Media. He spent nearly nine years at Activision, where he held management roles in Franchise Development and Brand Management. Earlier in his career, Chiang worked as a chemical engineer.

Reporting to Chiang are: Adam Bradford, VP of Tabletop Gaming; Roth Cornet, Head of Creative Development; Nana Kankam, VP Operations Strategy;  and Brandon Rhea, VP Growth.
